Marci Yockey
Project Coordinator
marci@greatlakeswest.com

What can we say? Marci didn’t get the nickname ‘glue’ for nothing!

Marci is the Project Coordinator for the National Accounts Team – as she puts it, “I work in the background to make sure every project runs as smoothly as possible.”

Marci joined the Great Lakes team in 2004 without any history in the foodservice industry. Now she touches just about every phase of every project that runs through the team, from purchase orders, startups, closeout docs, all the way to handling warranty issues for customers once the job closes.

Marci takes the company Core Values to heart and has advanced in her professional education earning recognition as a SEFAPro!

“I love that our industry is always changing with new and exciting innovations being introduced all the time. We are always learning.”

Andrew Harbin
Project Manager
andrew@greatlakeswest.com

Andrew has been working with Great Lakes as a Project Manager since 2019. Andrew is a former Marine, having served 4 ½ years based in North Carolina including some time in Afghanistan as a diesel mechanic.

After 2 surgeries on his leg Andrew left the Marines and came home to Kalamazoo, MI, where he worked as Sales Manager for Verizon for 3 years before joining the Great Lakes West team. “I never knew this industry even existed before I met Todd Heeter (President of Great Lakes West)!”, Andrew said. After being introduced to Todd at their church, it was only a matter of weeks before he joined the GLW team.

Andrew and his wife Taylor have 2 dogs, Rex and Fitz, and love to work out together, hike, and watch Spartan Football! They escape any chance they get to the beaches of Ft. Myers, Florida. One fun thing they like to do is getting to know the local bar owners in town.

One of Andrew’s favorite aspects of the foodservice industry is “…now that I know about all the equipment it’s more fun to talk about the industry to the owners when we go out.”

Macushla Martin
Chief Morale Officer

Macushla is a 6-year-old AKC certified mini goldendoodle. Although small in stature she has a big role to fill, and she takes her duties to heart!

On any given day you might find Macushla making rounds to everyone in the Southfield office, attending a team meeting, checking in and offering breaks for folks to give her a back scratch or belly rub, or napping in a cubby. She also loves to monitor what’s for breakfast and lunch to make sure we are eating healthy. Her favorite part of the day is greeting people in the morning as she runs around from desk to desk – she makes sure no one is ever left out.

When Macushla is home, she keeps herself busy; instead of being the official office greeter, she turns into the “neighborhood” dog. She comes home, runs over to 2 different neighbors’ homes, she goes to the one on right for a quick treat, then across the street to catch a game with our other neighbor, hangs out on the couch in the man-cave, she doesn’t care if it’s college or pro football or baseball! When she’s home, she always sits in the front door making sure the neighborhood is safe – no strangers allowed! Lastly her duties include hanging out in the back yard – she keeps all squirrels and rabbits off of the attached 5 properties. She comes sooooo close to catching them – but we are happy to report, she never does!

Her biggest pastime is being a great friend to all, she’s such a little lover – all of us are blessed to have her in our lives!
